What will you learn in this course?
The Leader in Adult Care Level 5 Apprenticeship provides learners with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage and lead others in adult care service.
Previous accomplishments are meticulously deliberated from the start to ensure time on the programme is maximized. Our approach is strong Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to guarantee that each Apprentice understands the context of their learning, the assessment methodology and that their future career advancement is carefully mapped into their journey.
Knowledge you’ll gain:
The qualification is formed of mandatory and optional units. The mandatory units cover core competencies whilst the optional units allow learners to choose from a variety of areas to tailor the qualification to their needs, interests and to reflect the context of their work.
It covers a wide range of topics including:
- Leadership and management
- Governance and regulatory processes
- Quality assurance
- Safeguarding, protection and risk
- Communication, relationships and partnership working
- Person-centred practice for positive outcomes
- Decision-making skills
- Entrepreneurial skills and innovation
- The management of specific services
Learners must be in a job role of Deputy or Manager in an appropriate setting, or have the opportunity to carry out responsibilities associated with these roles.
