What will you learn in this course?
Apprentices on the digital marketing level 3 apprenticeship will guide and inspire apprentices to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention. A digital marketer will typically be working as part of a team, in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign. The marketer will work on marketing briefs and instructions. They will normally report to a digital marketing manager, a marketing manager or an IT Manager.
Previous accomplishments are meticulously deliberated from the start to ensure time on the programme is maximized. Our approach is strong Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to guarantee that each Apprentice understands the context of their learning, the assessment methodology and that their future career advancement is carefully mapped into their journey.
Knowledge you’ll gain:
Written communication: applies a good level of written communication skills for a range of audiences and digital platforms and with regard to the sensitivity of communication
Research: analyses and contributes information on the digital environment to inform short and long-term digital communications strategies and campaigns
Technologies: recommends and applies effective, secure and appropriate solutions using a wide variety of digital technologies and tools over a range of platforms and user interfaces to achieve marketing objectives
Data: reviews, monitors and analyses online activity and provides recommendations and insights to others
Customer service: response efficiently to enquiries using online and social media platforms
Problem-solving: applies structured techniques to problem-solving, and analyses problems and resolves issues across a variety of digital platforms
Analysis: understands and creates basic analytical dashboards using appropriate digital tools
Implementation: builds and implements digital campaigns across a variety of digital media platforms
Applies at least two of the following specialist areas: search marketing, search engine optimisation, email marketing, web analytics and metrics, mobile apps and Pay-Per-Click

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This apprenticeship is designed as a stepping stone into managing teams, projects or departments. The apprentice is responsible for achieving clearly defined outcomes that are part of your organisation’s strategy and are keen to nurture their existing talents, with a natural flair for leadership.
It is desirable that candidates would have achieved a level 2 in maths and English (equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above) prior to commencing their apprenticeship training. Those apprentices who are yet to achieve a level 2 in English and maths will have the opportunity to complete these qualifications during their apprenticeship. However, a level 2 must be achieved in these areas before they qualify for entry to their end point assessment (EPA).

Upon successful completion of the Digital Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship, further progression opportunities are available:

- Enrolling in a degree (full or part-time) or even a degree apprenticeship
- Continuing in the role, but undertaking additional, related qualifications to further development
