ART Providers (ART) is a UK based organization that supports and prepares apprentices to be equipped with the right knowledge and skills in their chosen field of course programme. It is also part of our mission to help our community build and produce qualified apprentices that would reinforce business growth by bridging employers and apprentices together.
Due to the diverse range of inquiries we receive from apprenticeship candidates, ART is now looking to build a pool of experienced Cyber Security & Software Development Trainer to help support our apprentices on their apprenticeship journey.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- To manage and monitor the progress of a caseload of learners, organise workplace assessment visits and provide a point of proactive and regular contact with employers.
- To produce and monitor individual training plans for learners and contribute to their updating, encompassing all elements of the delivery programme.
- To conduct work-based assessments and internal verification in line with Awarding Body requirements.
- To develop appropriate work-based assessment materials to support skills, knowledge and behaviours.
- To plan, prepare and deliver in accordance with the course programme needs.
- To provide appropriate, constructive and timely written feedback, in accordance with ART Providers policies, to prepare learners for their end-point assessment activities.
- To attend and participate in standardisation and training activities to ensure a consistent approach.
- To carry out and support the compliance procedures and processes associated with the delivery of learners.
- To provide appropriate individual guidance and support to learners and refer to specialist agencies where appropriate e.g. additional learning support
Your skills and qualifications:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an occupational area or Level 4 qualification in related field
- Assessor Qualification, e.g. A1, D32, D33, or TAQA
- Level 4 teaching qualification e.g. CTLLS (or willingness to work towards)
- Possess good knowledge of the relevant industry areas (At least 2 years’ work experience in a relevant discipline)
- Additional certifications relating to field (in particular vendor quals/certifications and knowledge)
- Some experience of teaching, training peers or transferring skills to others, e.g. training, coaching, mentoring
- An understanding of current developments in related field
- Up to date working knowledge of new communication technology such as Google products, Slack, etc.
